Carol Shepherd was born in Bellshill, Lanarkshire, in 1971, but grew up in South Wales. She holds a German degree, an MA and a PGCE from Southampton University and now lives just outside of Southampton with her husband and three young children.
'Death by Peanuts' is the first novel to feature DI Mark ‘Pizza’ Parlour, the dermatologically challenged detective from Deverton.
