Derek Rossitter was born in 1923 After service in the British army throughout most of World War Two. He then entered industry as a trainee works manager. However he eventually decided to become legally qualified. After being called to the Bar of England and Wales he served for many years on the legal staff of an international industrial organisation. After retiring from his job he was appointed President of a company specialising in intellectual property research. He is now fully retired but remains Honorary President of a worldwide society specialising in legal aspects of branding. In addition to Splendour Postponed he has also recently had twenty six illustrated rhymes for children published under the title of “The Greedy Pigeon and the Hungry Porcupine and Friendsâ€
