Biography:
Eileen Garratt was born in Derbyshire and continued to live there until moving to Scotland in 2006 to start a 'new life'.
She attended Lady Manners' Grammar School, Bakewell and later studied with the Open University gaining a BA (Hons) and a Diploma in Health and Social Welfare.
She has had a variety of jobs including childminding, bar, restaurant, shop and office work and Scheme Assistant at a charity for deaf people.
