Biography:
Guy Blythman was born in Hampton, Middlesex, and educated at Millfield School, Somerset, and Southampton University and has been a resident of Shepperton since 2006. His interests include philosophy, theology, current affairs, classical music and, of course, writing.
He does voluntary work for Egham Museum, Surrey and his local church and has at various times been a political activist, a civil servant, president of his school and college debating societies and secretary of diverse committees.
He is a member of Walton Wordsmiths, a workshop group which aims to provide help and support to aspiring authors by offering constructive criticism and advice and suggesting openings.
He has written for the Doctor Who fanzines Mandria, Time-Space Visualiser and The Doctor's Recorder.
He goes on long walks in the country in order to be alone, but doesn't mind meeting people for a drink and a chat now and then.
Eye of the Sun God is his first published novel."
