Audrey Hawkins, who writes as Joanna Lambert, grew up in a small Wiltshire village on the edge of Salisbury Plain.
Training as a secretary she has had a variety of jobs over the years, and her employers, have ranged from small family businesses to large multi-national companies. Her favourite jobs were in the motor trade and the building industry. She currently works as a PA/Office Manager in the NHS. She started writing when she was twelve years old, has written on and off throughout her adult life and attended Creative Writing workshops. When Tomorrow Comes is her first commercial novel.
Audrey now lives in a village on the edge of Bath with her husband and much-loved ginger cat, Ziggy.
