Biography:
Kate Irving was born in Scotland and spent much of her childhood in the North of England. After studying History at London University, she moved to Nottingham where she taught for three years before retraining as a chartered accountant, eventually specialising in medical practitioners’ accounts, about which she became a freelance writer and lecturer.
Kate’s many interests include travel, cryptic crosswords, researching her family history and watching and appearing on quiz shows. The latter provides the background for this hilarious first novel.
