Biography:
Born in Jersey, Channel Islands in November 1936, Leslie was evacuated to Rochdale, Lancashire for the duration of the war, eventually returning at the age of nine.
He joined the Boys Service of the British army at the age of fifteen, before signing up for a twelve year tour of duty seeing action in the far east during the Malayan Emergency.
He took up writing poetry as far back as 1970. His upon retirement in June 1999 he took to writing seriously, trying his hand at story telling with Retribution.
