Biography:
Peter David Bromley was born in Greater Manchester in 1990. He spent his first five years in Wilmslow, Cheshire, after which his family moved to Newcastle upon Tyne. Peter now lives in a village on the outskirts of Newcastle with his parents and elder sister, Lauren, and near to his extended family.
He enjoys writing, reading, travelling, history, walking and is an avid film fan. He has written many short stories and film scripts and his ambition is to become a scriptwriter. This is his first children’s book and was written when he was ten years old.
It was inspired by a close family friend, ‘Aunty’ Liz, the village’s ‘lollipop lady’.
Lauren illustrated the book when she was twelve years old. She is currently studying ‘A’ levels and hopes to pursue a career in Fine Arts.
Peter has diverse special needs and has been home educated since 2000. He devotes a large part of each day to his favourite pastime- writing!
