For the past thirteen years, Rabina Khan has lived in Tower Hamlets in the East End of London. She has worked on a variety of community initiatives to help develop understanding between people, to access opportunities in education, housing, health and employment. At present she is working with the Environment Trust and her love of reading has prompted her to write her story.
Rabina is married with two children and her strong desire is to see them grow up in a harmonious, multi-racial society, without fear of prejudice. She wrote her novel to show how people of different backgrounds can come together to challenge racism and bridge gaps between themselves.
