Rob graduated in computing in 1983 and soon became recognised within the IT industry for his all-round knowledge and strategic vision. Rob has been instrumental in the merger and acquisition process of major global organisations, and been at the helm of some of the most innovative technological companies including Vodafone, Motorola and Psion. Rob has also spearheaded a number of government technology improvements including those at DWP, Companies House and HM Customs, where he was responsible for the delivery of all Projects and Programmes of work as a member of the tactical delivery board. Rob has also worked on government communications protocols and at a company where the first Internet search engine, called ALIWEB, was produced. Rob's views on many subjects, his innovative approach to life and original personality were recognised not only by technological organisations, but also by the Eccentric Club.
Rob’s fascination with technological innovation, quantum physics and astronomy, coupled with wanting to improve the world technologically and environmentally, has culminated in his new, just published, philosophical publication 'The Eccentric Universe'.
Having been at the helm of some the most innovative operations he felt it time that he utilised his innovative capabilities and knowledge to best advantage and has now just launched ww.Offerfeast.com which he says should be an Internet sensation (Basically its a more advanced rival to Groupon which combats their shortfalls). It will take incentivisation to another level by giving users who recommend businesses to use Offerfeast.com 1% of the businesses turnover as commission for six months, 0.1% thereafter. The website is ready to allow businesses to register their own offers online and Offerfeast.com charge a much lower commission rate compared to other offer/deal sites.
