Biography:
Robert Burnett, was born and raised in the then British Colony known as Southern Rhodesia, Africa, now Zimbabwe. Eventually, he would lobby for right's of a majority in his beloved homeland and on an international basis. Highlighting on-going deprivations which have ensued since Zimbabwe gained so called freedoms. Indeed, most justified reactions, as approximately half the world's population of some six billion. Now live life with some forms of poverty. A highly questionable position, considering growths in total wealth's during the same period or past fifty years, has more than tripled.
Journeys of much intrigue have unfolded in the authors life, as recorded in the series 'PHANTOMS OF AFRICA' and 'ZEBRA ZONE, (both published on this site)' Robert, has always been most passionate on subjects highlighting struggles of the less privileged, more so the vulnerable set within society. Including meanings attached to securing wild life and nature through sustainable, working partnerships as highlighted in the novel 'Zebra Zone,'. An exciting novel, which concentrates on the specific subject of wild life. A drama feature film designed for general release, is also being adapted.
The general public, along with commerce and industry, then offered opportunities to invest and share in saving joint heritage's and vulnerable species. Robert, firmly believes, modern systems and criteria's of running daily affairs. Simply blocks out all reality. Then leave in the wake further deprivation for disenfranchised societies. Now more than ever, distributions of finances; have to be more evenly distributed. We entertain an Ethos, where approximately some 95% of the planets wealth. Remains controlled by the minority 5% and fortunate few.
Clearly, something's drastically wrong. Imbalances require urgent rectifying, by introducing intelligent thought patterns. Deliver equality and dignity for all. There exists clear examples of a species pillaging and plaguing a once balanced planet. An Ethos is deeply entrenched and drowning in Greed. Describing actions more simply as representing Grab, Run, Eat, Enjoy and Destroy philosophies. At current rates, there's going to be very little, if anything left for future generations to inherit. Meanings of right, now appear to represent wrong. All the while equality, remains in word alone, by delivering very little, if anything in return.
Indeed more recent events, along with reports of killings and mass floods as occurred in Mozambique and Zimbabwe, for instance. Then further cases of mere rhetoric's, delivering intransigence most heavily down on an innocent prey. Weaker nations are forced to dance to tunes of pied pipers. As all sanity's lost to drown out voices of reason while sharing spoils. Robert, firmly believes an intelligence has merely been misused and abused. That the more wealthy, are delivered obligations to share evenly if ever hoping to retain true values of anything.
Precious gems as those uncovered in someone else's back garden, for instance. Then begs the question. Who remains the original owners? Therefore, should and by right alone, retain majority ownership as true and genuine benefactors. Yet, and down the years, far off lands control exports of assets BELONGING TO OTHERS. Robert, is also currently devising a children's early learning novel titled 'MY CHUM' as located on www.mychum.co.uk. It concentrates on daily life as viewed through eyes of creation.
