Biography:
My biography is to be found in my published work - which is not strictly ‘autobiography', being presented as ‘fiction', albeit highly autobiographical. You don't get my whole life story - the ‘facts' in the form of a linear narrative. What you do get is what I consider to be the significant events, situations and thoughts that relate to truths rather than facts. Honesty is the bedrock of all that I write. Memory inevitably modifies ‘facts' in the re-living of one's life, and sometimes it is necessary to deliberately re-order the details of personal experience in order to give a truer representation of real life in the form of a book. But always the intention is to give honest and authentic expression of real life, as it is lived.
