Biography:
Born in 1961 Tim Beacon has had a varied life. He has travelled widely and run his own part time adventure training company since 1988. He qualified as an Operating Department Practitioner in 1987 and spent many years working for the NHS in a variety of clinical and teaching roles. He was awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Travel Medicine from Glasgow University in 1999. He also has a successful background in business and is actively involved in church and charity work, including running an aid organisation that supplies Developing World hospitals with redundant medical equipment. Tim is married to Sarah. They have three daughters and live in Bedford.
