After leaving university in 1973 with a physics degree, Timothy V. Reeves taught science for 5 years and then retrained as a computer programmer, his current occupation. Since leaving university he has not stopped dabbling in physics, philosophy and computing. In 1988 he published a paper in "The British Journal for the Philosophy of Science" on the nature of probability and randomness. However, he curtailed further studies in this area when a computer probability simulation he was working on suggested to him a new route into the subject of Quantum Gravity, resulting in his current publication on Gravity and Quantum Mechanics. He is married with three children and lives in Norwich England.
