Biography:
Y I Lee was born in Swindon Wiltshire.
At the age of around nineteen, she moved to London, where she trained to be a singer. After a couple of years of intensive study, she embarked on her singing career.
Her first engagement was a Summer Show in Morecombe, and from that exciting beginning she went on to perform in Pantomimes, Cabaret and recording and session work.
In the late eighties she gave up show biz and moved to the midlands, where she met and married her husband Keith.
Now she is kept busy writing books for children and young teens.
