I wrote my Scientific Proof of God in book form rather than as a scientific paper in a Scientific Journal on account of my age (87), and the time (amounting sometimes to several years) that it takes to get a scientific paper accepted and published, that is normal for a piece of original research.
When I had completed the manuscript and my friends read it, the message came back that the amount of detail and references to statistics limited its likely value for leisure reading.
I felt that it was a pity as among general readers there is certainly a huge interest in the subject itself. I tried to cut out some of the detail, but I found this difficult to do without diluting the scientific argument for those readers who would want this untouched, in full.
Hence this Easy Guide, which is being published alongside the more detailed Scientific Proof. I hope, dear Reader, that you will find it a useful introduction to the subject and that it will help you, if you have not already done so, more easily to make what is certainly the most important decision of a lifetime - whether, in fact, there is a personal independent God in charge of the Universe, or not.
If you are one of those, like myself, who finds absolute certainty, based on Faith alone, difficult to achieve, you may find this Easy Guide especially helpful. I hope so.
Many who have been exposed to scientific thinking feel that Faith, alone, cannot provide the answer, and that the lack of a scientific proof, to date so far, casts doubt on a God being present in the Universe.
What these people overlook is that Science depends entirely on measurement. Ultimately, all measurement depends on one or more of the human senses (sight, touch, hearing, etc.), and these can, of course, only measure factors in the Physical Dimension of the Universe. But the presence of God is on a separate Spiritual Dimension, which does exist, but which can only be measured in isolated instances, where it reacts and produces measurable effects on the Physical Dimension. This was only discovered clearly in the 1940s: and this single discovery (measurable Telepathy, Clairvoyance and Psycho Kinesis) has tended to have been ignored by scientists generally as being unexplainable. More recently, other instances of this effect of Spirituality on the Physical Dimension have been discovered, showing that a separate Spirituality Dimension to the Universe does unarguably exist. Science must now get used to the fact that until now it has been completely blind to at least one segment of the Universe, which really does exist.
