Realising The Book

What I am about to tell you will change the course of history for humanity forever.
     After the extraordinary experiences of the last year, Mother then said to me, “Whatever we talk about from now on is just between you and Me.” So, I realised that I would now turn these experiences into a book and we set about writing Beyond All Doubt Is Jerusalem The Golden City. We took the experiences and reading through them, we felt that we could perhaps make them better, perhaps explain certain things. My brother John and I worked together very hard over the next six to eight weeks, putting these experiences into what we thought was the book, how we thought it should be written. We realised that we were getting very close now to Sahasrara Day, and I could feel Mother saying to me all the time, “You must get this book to Me for the 5th of May, 2010, for Sahasrara Day.” We worked day and night to get this book finished. And one evening, only a few days from Sahasrara Day, Mother said to me, “I must have the book now.” I turned to John and I said to him, Mother has just said to me, we must get the book to Her now, immediately, and we only have three days to go before Sahasrara Day. And as I said that, Shri Ganesha appeared and He parted the sea between here and Genoa, and I realised that I had to act immediately, that moment. John suggested that he should take the book on a plane to Genoa, but we realised that we wouldn’t be able to get in to see Mother. Or perhaps, I could take the book, but that didn’t seem to be the right answer. We then thought perhaps we should give it to one of the English leaders to take, but that didn’t seem right either. I said to John that I had a phone number for Cabella, Italy, in my address book at my office, which is maybe 10 or 11 miles away. We hurried down to the car and we drove to the office, and that drive was like no other drive. We both felt totally compelled to get this manuscript, this book, to Mother as fast as possible, within these moments. The vibrations were just extraordinary and the feeling that this book, these experiences, were so important to Mother. Eventually, we rang Cabella. I spoke to a Sahaja Yogi, who suggested that we email it to him and that he print it out and take it to Shri Mataji’s house in Genoa and present the book for Sahasrara Day.
     On Sahasrara Day, I could feel the moment that Shri Mataji was presented with the book. What I felt immediately was that we shouldn’t have changed any of the words; we shouldn’t have tried to explain anything. We shouldn’t have tried to make it, in our human way, better, because these experiences are Pure Consciousness, which is Mother talking through us to show us the path. After this incredible realisation, we realised that we should go back to the beginning of the experiences and start writing the book, word for word, as I had spoken it, like I am doing now. So, the whole book is recorded and then transcribed in total meditation and total dedication to Mother. There’s not a thought process that goes into it. I just sit in meditation and talk, and these realisations are real-time live realisations with Mother in Her Formless Form sitting with us as Shri Mataji, and guiding us. We then realised that having read So Daisys Really Are Made In Heaven over the last few years, we should go back to the original of Daisys. I found the original and we started to read it. What was incredible was that it was pretty much word for word, and we could see that any changes that we had made weren’t right. So, we actually went back to the original tapes of Daisys, which were recorded in the summer of 1994, and we re-listened to every tape and made sure that the original of Daisys was word for word. We then also started working on the experiences of the last months, writing them word for word.
