Synopsis
This is a collection of anagrams that I have assembled which is
designed to be of assistance to both compilers and solvers of
crosswords. There may well be an infinite number of anagrams available,
but I have limited the inclusion to those of no more than 15 letters,
which is normally the maximum extent of crosswords, and also excluded
all those obvious ones of less than 5 letters. One will find that each
entry is listed under each interpretation alphabetically although,
where more than one word is used, those referring may need to look for
words in a different order to arrive at a meaningful solution in the
context of the crossword. The addition of the letter S to make the
plural forms of single words should also be considered. I do not claim
that this compilation is exhaustive and I shall continue to expand it
as others come to my notice.
