This is a sequel to the first book titled 'Big Frogs of the Small Well of Chathur' written by Mr. Babu Chathur (a pseudonym)-popularly called as Writer Babu in Chathur. A UK resident of Indian origin, Writer Babu first came to Chathur following the trail of a will left behind by his obscure deceased uncle and stayed on for nearly three and half years in Chathur, Kerala, India. But under strange circumstances, he got implicated in a sex-scandal and he was forced to leave Chathur abruptly. Under persuation from his publishers in UK and his only close friend Unni in Chathur, Writer Babu, however, returned to Chathur two and half years later and spent a year there to complete his second book i.e. Part II on the 'Big Frogs' of Chathur. Unlike the first book which contained stories of those Chathurites with whom Writer Babu had bitter experiences, the Part II has dealt with some of the friendly and enterprising characters-'the emergent or new generation of frogs' as the author called them-who were caught in the web of high tech revolution that has taken over Chathur, in the short span of two and half years of his 'exile' in UK.
