Synopsis

So, why write a book about Toronto when you are English and live in London? The answer is simple. I spend a lot of time in Toronto and know the city well. How have I come to know the city so well? I'll tell you.

During my many visits to Toronto, visiting newly discovered family, I have spent some considerable time exploring the city.

I count myself lucky. There have been times in my life I have been forced to use a wheelchair. Now, after two long spells in hospital undergoing extensive surgery I am, for most of the time, able to get around. My experiences have alerted me to problems faced by disabled people in general and wheelchair users in particular.

This book also explores the developing relationship between me and my new family.

Information is based on my own observations and research and is accurate as far as possible. The star ratings i.e. five stars indicates good access and disabled facilities. One star indicates extremely limited access. Admission prices were correct at the time of publication. .
