See the bright green tendrils fall
They cling to life on the garden wall
Pollen rich in heads of flower bud
Across the skies dark clouds scud
Feelings of heats oppression slowly ease
Home pleasures enjoyed begin to please
Golden nectar sipped by tender lips
O'er the western skies the sun dips
Soft silken wrap of night encloses
Day sleeps on a bed of roses.

A Prayer.

I said a prayer for you last night
As the moon was shining bright
God please guide this hapless soul
Help her walk through life so bold
May her love that's true and good
Walk the path, as true love should
Give her strength and give her hope
Show her how with problems cope
And if her love is sweet and pure
No matter what, let it endure
Guide her Lord hold her hand
