This is a story of a daughter's deep love for her father. It tells of the love and support of her family as she has to care for her father after a series of severe strokes.
The story covers the pain and heartache, yet, allows a deep humour to shine through. The dreadful trauma of having to accept the fact that she can no longer care for the man she has idolised since her first memory. The sheer torment of having to allow him to be placed into residential care.
She agonises with her family about the future. She explains their triumphs and disasters and allows many humourous incidents to run through the story. Her hopes are to share these experiences, trying to give hope, comfort and inspiration to families facing similar traumas and gives her own version of helpful hints she manages to pick up -the hard way.
