Synopsis

The aim of this book is to evaluate the impact of the European political Cooperation as well as Common Foreign Security Policy on the Gulf and Yugoslav crisis. The book focuses on the development of Post Cold War European foreign policy. It takes account of the influence of US foreign policy towards the Gulf and Yugoslav conflicts, as well as explores differences of national foreign policy thinking in the UK, France and Germany. The final part discusses the future problems that will need to be addressed successfully if the European Union’s Common Foreign and Security Policy is to have any credibility within the fields of European Union expansion, intelligence policy and armament.
