Originally made available on the internet, 'The Word of the Lord' has proved sufficiently popular to warrant its publication in paperback to satisfy the growing demand for the book by church housegroups and individuals for private Bible Study. The book combines the fruit of many years of scholarship and personal study, with a lifetime's practical experience of living out the Gospel in daily life.

The first part of \"The Word of the Lord\" provides a straightforward, down-to-earth introduction to the content of the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. It highlights the principal significance of each book within the context of the whole Bible, and gives references to passages of particular importance within each book.
