Elder had just completed a session of meditation and she felt refreshed. Looking over the horizon she observed the various celestial beings performing their individual duties. She could distinguish between the various life forms in the celestial realms by the light that permeated their beings. Yet she could still remember the days when this task was almost impossible without the assistance of her guides. As she concentrated on the light, she shifted her gaze as she always did, because the rays of light became too bright for her to behold - \"That is the seat of God: the source of all life\" she was once told by her teacher.
Elder was a being of wisdom. She opened herself to the vast wisdom of the universe through the practice of meditation. In this exercise, she had the guides, angels and other life forms resident within the celestial realms minister unto her, and through the practice of the principles revealed to her therein she had become enlightened. She remembers being told at the inception of her lessons that, \"Enlightenment is the ability to perceive devoid of judgments and it is the duty of the enlightened to share their wisdom with other seekers of the truth.\" She took this advice to heart and pursued fulfilling this injunction vigorously day and night by sharing her wisdom with those about to embark on their journey to earth
At the very early stages of her development Elder had formed the habit of meditating. \"Earth was created to provide the soul with an avenue to experience who she is\", she recalls being told in one of the earliest discussions she had with her celestial teacher about earth, \"but unfortunately it has lost its innocence and become a place for mankind to express their perverse minds. However through meditation, the universe provides a means for the mind of man to be wholly restored.\" And since Elder has now seen how the pursuance of matters of less importance on earth has led humans astray, she always emphasized the importance of meditation to her students.
“In meditation you become aware of the meaning of free will” Elder shared with the aspirants in her presence. “The art reveals the virtues of the Creator and provides you with an insight on how to integrate them with your daily duty” she continued. And with these words she began her lecture with all those who had gathered around her today. “The importance of walking the spiritual and true path has been sacrificed by mankind for the path that nourishes the flesh, yet given the opportunity to live their life again, as most beings testify after their human experience, they would pay more attention to the spiritual path. Because in death, these beings have come to realise that the things they once classified as important are in actual fact irrelevant. These humans, now in their ethereal form, have come to realise that they have brought nothing with them to the afterlife except the intent that sponsored their actions and the consequences of their deeds on earth. But unfortunately, on being born, the importance of the spiritual and true path is one of the first lesson mankind forgets.”
Elder also spent time observing the aspirants - the consciousness that had chosen to have the human experience - and she knew, through the energy that permeated the being of Michael, one of the aspirants that constantly returned to her presence to partake in her lessons, that he was ready to become her next student.
Michael was in the conference room observing Jude, his intended father. Having chosen his earthly parents, he spent most of his time in their presence establishing an esoteric and emotional bond with them. He had earlier on spent some time in the presence of his chosen mother at work and felt the energy she expended questioning her inability to conceive. He recalled being present the previous night as she discussed with Jude the various options available to them concerning the raising of a family and felt her pain. This was not the first time she had cursed her lot and Michael had discussed with his peers the possibility of moving his journey to earth forward in order to relieve her of these pains. But they reminded him of the truth shared by their guides, \"that you don't relieve another of their problems by solving it for them. Instead you should render assistance to them by leading them to the truth.\"
In his meditations today, Michael pondered on the contrast in the style of evaluation of both parents. For while Sarah, his intended mother, was fretting about her inability to conceive naturally, Jude was very understanding and had suggested they adopt a child as an alternative. Sarah had promised to consider this option in the New Year if her situation hadn't changed by then. But Michael couldn't help wondering why she wasn't receptive to the idea of adopting a child now and embrace the addition of her own biological child when he comes along later. What if conceiving wasn’t on her path in her present lifetime he asked himself, would she deny herself the opportunity of parenting a child? Humans he concluded: seldom understand the workings of the spirit.
In addition to being in the presence of his parents, Michael exercised the permission he had been granted to interact with members of the family of both parties who had already crossed over. He had studied the family records and asked questions about their time on earth. This research was very important as the information gathered provided him with an idea of influences that conditioned his parents and would form the basis of the questions he would ask his guide when the time arrived. He had the premonition that the time for his journey to earth was nigh, since those who had previously undertaken this exercise were always only a few steps from becoming humans.
Amongst his peers and contemporaries, there was constant discussion about their observations of the human life. In the study groups Michael attended with his peers, the participants constantly searched for the meaning to these observations, but after careful deliberation they set aside their opinions waiting for the fulfilment of their leader’s promise, who constantly reminded them \"when they were ready the teacher would appear.\"
In the conference room, Michael observed a steady increase in the number of celestial beings present. A passing angel told him that as humans let go of their false teachings, the frequency of energy released through their body becomes purified. This transformation attracts the higher evolved celestial beings that come along with their entourage to minister to these beings the truths about all things.
As the class took a break, Michael decided it was time to return to his meditations. But as he settled down, he heard a voice, which he later came to know, was that of Elder, asking him: Do you have any questions?
Michael perceived this question as a more vibrant energy integrating with his own thoughts. This force came through him gently but forceful enough to suspend his individual thoughts. This voice was providing answers, with clarity, to the questions he held in his conscious thoughts. In the instant he realized the truth in the words he heard, a knowing came upon him that his teacher had appeared. He was excited. There were so many questions he needed answers to. But he asked:

Why do humans need to have what is so obvious pointed out to them?

The mind of the human being functions in a way different from the sense of perception of the spirit life Elder offered. As celestial beings, we have the ability to see the cause and know the effect without the impurities - judgments - that are stored in the minds of mankind, impeding our vision and choices. Thus we make only choices that would benefit us now and in eternity since we know the consequences of each deed.
When God created all living things, He embedded in our souls the knowledge about our evolution. Thus the plant instinctively knows the appropriate amount of nutrients to absorb and the animals know how to take care of their young without being told. To the angels and mankind, He gave the added advantage to think and imagine. With these virtues He charged us with the responsibility of making our choices from the conclusions we form thereof. This is the genesis of the concept of freewill: the ability to imagine how things can be and the freedom to go forth and create it.
In the beginning, before the earth was formed, the angels were asked to imagine how the world could be and the ideas they provided formed the foundation and structure on which the earth was established. When the process of the creation of earth was nearing completion, God decided and communicated to His companions - the angels - His desire to send some of the spirit beings in heaven to have dominion over the earth. For them to be fully prepared for this task, God asked them to meditate on the essence of their being because He knew that in their meditations, they would see their true glory; the heights to which they could attain and the depths to which they could fall. Yet upon receiving this knowledge about their being and potential, all spirit life remained loyal to the Creator because they knew that they were one being with Him.
However when God decided on those to send to earth, He chose among the weak because He intended that their training would continue on earth and to this end, He selected an enlightened few with the hope that they would assist the weak in their study of who they were. He intentionally kept those who thought they would, with the knowledge and proficiency that they had demonstrated, be given charge over the earth because He knew that they needed further guidance in order to channel their powers correctly.
A few rejected this explanation and convinced others to rebel against God’s decision. They then chose to become competitors for the hearts of the beings that inhabited the earth. Thus the ego was created. The concept of the ego may be difficult for you to comprehend in your present state of being, but let it be known that as a human being all decision becomes a choice between reflecting the essence of the Creator and following the lead of the ego.
Each human being has a soul. The soul is part of the consciousness of God. And the soul is embedded with the entire nature of God's wisdom which is released, in accordance with one’s beliefs, for the well being of humankind as they journey on earth. The ego hinders the free flow of the wisdom of God. It perverts the mind of mankind with its interpretation of the truth and thus the conflict between the soul - the voice of God, and the ego, is found in the nature of man.
Know that God believes in the equality of all creations whereas the ego is rooted in the belief that some beings are more important than others. It was this desire for relevance and recognition that caused the first rebellion. And this struggle continues till this day within the minds of mankind. It is this internal conflict that deprives mankind the use of their power of pure perception. Hence I will advise that in order to live the glorious life you are created for you need to discard the thoughts that deny the equality of the human race because they are false and ultimately create chaos.
This glorious experience is what the soul desires. And the move from an ego-projected life to a love reflected life becomes possible for the human being only when he or she listens to and applies the suggestions of the soul - the spirit within. The soul possesses the ability to transform your life because she is all embracing, she doesn't judge; she knows that everyone acts in accordance with his or her minds perception of the physical events taking place around him or her. The soul constantly releases emotions of unconditional love. Her suggestions therefore support the energy she releases. These suggestions also advise her beholder to embrace everyone, including those who have not yet come to their own truths about who they are, instead of condemning them.

The ego on the other hand rejects all thoughts that do not conform to the root belief that makes it more important than others. Therefore, connecting with the soul as a human being is made difficult because you have to transcend the influence of the ego, whose everlasting presence constantly attempts to distort your perception of the truth. Thus if you fail to yield to the truth embedded in the soul, your life will mirror those individuals who follow the lead of the ego and become denied access to the eternal truth. Then your perception of pain and struggle becomes self-defeating.

Who is the soul?

Your soul is part of the consciousness - wisdom - of God, thus all the truth you need is embedded within you now. The wisdom contained within the soul is released for the benefit of humankind and provides insights that will lead you from where you are to where you intend to be.
Therefore learn to welcome the soul because she is an extension of God and wishes you well. She is pure energy with no impurities and although she possesses the attributes and nature of God, her true glory is subdued if the constructions you have of her and God in the mind are faulty.

What is the purpose of the ego?

The ego reverses the function of the mind. Therefore, instead of the mind performing its original duty - interpreting the suggestions of the soul, who has been embedded with the wisdom of the ages - the ego seeks to impose its will.
The will of the ego is to deprive you the grace of remembering the truths that have been shared with you now. And even though the teachers on earth encourage their students to contemplate on their purpose in life and their life after the human experience in order to make the world a better place, a large proportion of humanity will continue to search for these answers without finding them because the ego has succeeded in deceiving them about what is important in life. Know then that when you forget the important things, your duty to yourself and community becomes less of a priority and you end up performing deeds that produce results you don't wish for.

What are the main differences between the soul and the ego?

I have already revealed that each decision is a choice between reflecting the essence of the Creator or that of the ego. Therefore it is imperative that you know that by challenging the truths provided by the soul and creating enough doubt within the mind of the beholder, the relevance of the ego increases within the human being.
The ego isn't comfortable with failure – that is, not producing the results it wishes - thus it will strive to convince you to confine your potential to the challenges, instead of encouraging you to expand them beyond the obstacles you encounter. In other words, the ego encourages neither growth nor change. The soul on the other hand will always lead you along the path that will produce the results you desire. She knows the impurities stored in the mind and provides new thoughts, through various means, to make it whole.
The ego may think you ready, but the soul knows when you are ready for any experience. And contrary to what the ego suggests the human being moves to the time of the soul; the esoteric – karmic – influences and not destiny.
The soul is patient – never in haste. She knows that moving you ahead of what you are prepared for is an invitation to chaos. The ego on the other hand is always in haste because it believes that its importance will increase through its achievements and acquisitions. Remember: the evolution of mankind isn't measured by what is acquired, but by the truth that is integrated with his core being.

What other differences exist between the soul and the ego?

The ego is the main obstacle encountered by man. The moment you subject yourself to its influence, your journey as a human being becomes more difficult. The ego is an entity. It is a sponsoring thought that distorts the truth. It gains influence over man by implanting itself in his mind as judgements.
The ego is created by the individual and nurtured by societal conditioning. The ego always seeks self gratification and all other pursued aspirations sponsored by the ego are offshoots of this self – indulgence.
Since the soul knows that human life is a temporary experience, she isn't distracted by the events that present themselves temporarily in the physical world, since her main intention is your salvation in the afterlife. And by the word salvation I mean an elevation in the afterlife with more global responsibilities. Her choices are made in heaven for your use on earth. She has a pre-knowledge of the consequences of all actions and will thus, through her suggestions, lead you away from the consequences of the unfavourable choices you have made or have the potential to make in the future. But I remind you that this is only possible for those who cleanse their mind of all prejudices since judgements serve as impediments to the processing of her suggestions.
Another fundamental difference between the ego and the soul is that the latter possesses the wisdom of the ages and therefore has the ability to provide you with the necessary guidance and information to live a fulfilled life before the future unfolds, while the former doesn’t. The soul achieves this goal because it understands the importance of the law of cause and effect and thus is naturally equipped to lead you away from adverse consequences. The ego on the other hand is not.

The soul is part of eternity and therefore has been infused with the wisdom of the ages since the beginning of creation. The soul knows that life is lived in real time and that your responses to the challenges you encounter on the path you walk create the consequences that constitute your future; she also understands the power of intent. The soul will therefore use her knowledge of the past and future, to provide you with the information to make the correct choice in the present moment.
The ego seldom lives in the present moment; thus it rarely perceives what is unfolding correctly. Because of this shortcoming, the ego can’t predict the corresponding consequences correctly since all events are processed through its judgements. However by accessing the mind, the ego is opened to the benefit of hindsight. Thus the ego uses the information stored in the mind to manipulate the arguments it advances about its potential and ways in order to convince the human being that it can replace the function of the soul. So while the unwholesome mind - the mind full of prejudices - leads you along the path full of regrets where you constantly find yourself correcting the effects of past choices, the soul will do everything possible to create the future of your dreams within any given parameters.
An unwholesome mind – a mind under the influence of the ego - is the cause of a repetition of the same mistakes. Making adjustments to your interpretation of the essence of God is normally all that is required to correct this anomaly. Remember the essence of God has been defined as the beliefs, principles and values God upholds. And believe me - God has beliefs values and principles that He upholds even though people think that His actions are random. This I am sure you have come across in your observation of the human being.
The ego is fond of leading his captive around in circles. Its interpretation of progress is in the acquisition of material wealth, but these acquisitions have no influence in the afterlife. The intention of the ego is to destroy, in your mind, the truth on which the universe was created.
The soul - your consciousness and this shouldn't be confused with your conscious thoughts – on the other hand, upholds the essence of the truth and it is always with you irrespective of the form you choose. The soul is a custodian of the universal truths.
The universal truth ensures peace, love and equality and these are principles the ego never upholds.

Can the ego by erroneously perform the duty of the soul?

The ego can't perform the duty of the soul because the sponsoring thought on which it is established is faulty; it believes it is more important and significant than its co-travellers and thus stores opinions and judgements. In effect, the ego, by distorting the truth, creates a lesser mind and the results you manifest thereof are less than you are capable of.

I accept that the soul has access to the truth in its original form, but how can the soul know the future when it is in a body?

The entire future has already been lived in the past at creation. But its manifestations in the present are simply being expressed through human beings with the tools in their possession. And as I have said, this entire knowledge is embedded in the soul which she releases to the individual as thoughts during their journey on earth.
Although the soul provides clarity with all her suggestions, the ego distorts the information shared by the soul with its prejudices. However with careful evaluation, through meditation, the impediments added on by the ego can be removed and the wholesome voice of the soul revealed.
The soul is always on purpose. She remains on purpose because the essence of her wisdom doesn't change with external stimulations. Therefore those who act according to her suggestions effortlessly suspend their prejudices because her suggestions are tailored to provide mankind with insights into their evolution.
The teachings of the soul are also designed to reveal the weaknesses in the ways of the ego. But because a proportion of human beings have failed to set aside their false teachings, they never benefit from the potency of her truths. Know that it is the soul who gives you a glimpse of another attainable dimension while it is the duty of the ego to postulate that there is no existence outside the dimension you live in.

How can I overcome the influence of the ego?

The voice of the soul is the word spoken devoid of judgements. Therefore, as judgements cease, the influence of the ego is subdued and the soul is given the opportunity to become the predominant force in your life. When this happens, you will begin to demonstrate her truths in your thoughts, words and deeds, and become a true reflection of the essence of the Creator. It is through this action that humans become truly born again.

What is my responsibility on earth? Who am I responsible for?

You are responsible for yourself and by extension to the entire human race.

Then why have human beings continuously failed to leave the world better than they met it? Is it not true that most humans are concerned with their survival?

Not all humans have failed at this task; some have actually done a lot to make the world better. But these individuals have had to transcend great adversity to fulfil this purpose. The reason why more humans are not involved in making the world better is because most of them have been trained to shy away from challenges.
However I agree with you on the point that the generality of humans are concerned only with their survival irrespective of the harm they unleash on their planet. Surprisingly the individuals who refuse to defy challenges are the people who wish to be remembered for good by their community. These humans behave in ways that provide immediate gratification to these loved ones but create pain in the future. Humans stoop to this method because there is a great misconception amongst them about the universe. They have come to believe that being truthful may not attract love and acceptance to them as a human being. They have not yet been awakened to the truth that it is not what manifests immediately that matters, but the benefits these gifts will create in eternity. Because as eternity unfolds, the truth you leave behind will be appreciated and the appropriate respect will be bestowed on you. Therefore I will advise that you demonstrate the truth in all your thoughts, words and deeds.

Why do I have to become human? What effect will the events that unfold as my physical reality have on me?

The earth provides an opportunity for you to grow. It generates prospects for you to become aware of whom you truly are. The events that are attracted on to your path are therefore designed to reveal certain untapped aspects of your being. These new revelations are asking you to define who you are and by extension you are being asked to define who you think your God is.
The human experience is therefore an opportunity for you to reflect the true essence of the Creator on earth as you have witnessed in heaven. Humans reveal their interpretation of the essence of God in their responses to the events that are attracted on to their path. Know that the human definition of their essence is always rooted in their belief of what is expected of them by God and their co-travellers on earth; but I will advise that you define your essence by knowing what is expected of you by God, since many human beings have standards less than those set by the Creator. The information you need to properly define your essence is already embedded within the soul.

What is the purpose of the human experience?

I have already revealed it, but I will repeat it so that there will not be any misunderstanding. Your purpose, just like that of all living beings, is to provide a true reflection of the essence of the Creator in your thoughts, words and deeds. God created us all to be His companions but as I have previously said, the ego makes communicating and conversing with Him difficult.

The human experience therefore asks if you have faithfully remained committed to the principles on which the universe was created. It asks you if you have done the important things life requires of you. And in the context of this dialogue, the important things are the things that can't be destroyed by death.

How do I express my life’s purpose?

The human experience provides you with the opportunity to become a true reflection of the essence of the Creator. Hence you must create a way to express this within the parameters of whatever vocation you choose on earth. In other words I am suggesting you live your life with the knowledge that you can become better even if the world around you doesn't improve. In essence you must strive to make improvements to the constructions you have formed of God and the world within your mind and then reflect these truths in your deeds. Know that there is no perfect vocation, there only a perfect person performing a vocation. And this perfection is determined by your ability to express your values within the parameters of the vocation.

What enlightenment can you provide regarding what cannot be destroyed by death?

One thing that cannot be destroyed by death is the knowledge of the principles that govern the universe. This knowledge provides you with an understanding of the relationship that exists between all creations and as you become awakened to these truths your perception of the self simultaneously expands.

What impact do these principles have on the world?

The principles that govern the universe outlive the messenger; hence by sharing it with the community you are providing benefits for generations yet unborn. So be not discouraged when you are challenged for spreading the truth because you have provided the greatest gift of all: the liberation of the soul through the mind. Be not discouraged also when your thoughts are projections of love and come from within without validation by any known authority, because these thoughts are suggestions of the soul and not everyone is aligned with the truths that come from within and therefore cannot understand them.

What is the relationship between the important things and the principles that govern the universe?

An understanding of the principles that govern the universe frees the mind and liberates the soul. With this freedom you will not deviate from your purpose throughout eternity.

What is the purpose of this dialogue?

The purpose of this dialogue is to provide you with an understanding of God because when you truly know Him, you will recognize your own true essence and nature since you have been created in His image and after His likeness. Therefore the truths I share with you have the potential to lead you to a fulfilled life because they reflect your true essence. However you should know that the understanding of these truths will remain incomprehensible to anyone who believes in the philosophy of the ego because the ego stands against what is true.
The mind has no thoughts of its own. It simply processes, through the beliefs it has stored, the information that is passed to it by the soul. But when this information is processed by the ego - your prejudices - its interpretations will lead you astray because the truth provided by the soul has been distorted. Therefore be cautious of what you believe to be true because the actions of all human beings are reflections of their beliefs.
Through your beliefs you choose whether to be in union with God or the ego; to have a peaceful or chaotic human experience. And remember, those who reside in the secret place of the Most High are the beings that reflect the essence of the Creator in their thoughts, words and deeds. Through this dialogue I also intend to provide you with the universal truths. And if you apply them to all your momentary experiences, you will avoid acquiring the impediments – judgments – that are usually stored in the minds of mankind. This will thus ensure that you live the glorious experience you have been promised.
My intention is to awaken the parts of your being you are not yet aware of. Because the wisdom in the possession of the soul has the potential to lead you through the valley of the shadow of death without any deviations from the original intent, which will ensure that no harm befalls you. My desire is to lead you, through these teachings, away from the ego because if you permit the ego to take root you can be rest assured that your life will consist of correcting past mistakes.
The truths contained in this dialogue are shared to provide you with the knowledge required to remove all false limits. These revelations never tire of reminding you that you are a part of God and that by reconnecting with Him you have the power to manifest your wishes. Therefore, to reap the maximum benefits of this exercise, I advise, that in each passing moment, you choose to be the spirit being you are. This will ensure you walk in faith and not by sight.

How have you come about the principles you have chosen to share with me?

It is my duty as a guide to know these truths. And since they have been revealed to me, it is my responsibility to share it with whoever is ready to hear them.
I receive these truths in my meditations and repeat them as I have heard them from above - devoid of my personal opinions or judgments. “Above” in this context refers to any place nearer to the core being of the Creator than the place I occupy. I, like so many other life forms, am privileged to hear these words because I have overcome the influence of the ego. As I speak these words with you now, there are those on earth who are privy to our discussions because they too have suspended their own personal judgments.
These truths come through me because I am committed to reflecting the essence of the Creator. By integrating these truths with my being I have had a knowing come upon me and can thus reveal the potential within other life forms. My putting these principles in words is to ensure that you are prepared for the task before you. Thus I am one of the instruments God has chosen to use to demonstrate His loving kindness to you.

What is the truth?

The truths states what Is. The truth is the entire mechanism – principles and laws - that calls forth and supports the universe. These structures remain intact for the use of all living things, but the creations each being calls forth are determined by the interpretation he or she gives to the essence of the Creator. If you define the essence of God in terms less than His true glory, you will act in ways less than you are capable of and thus create a reality less than what the universe is prepared to give you. So remember this truth: your reality is always your truth expressed.

Can you please provide more insight into the statement \"your reality is your truth expressed?\" Do you mean that who and where I am is an expression of what I believe to be true?

Who you are never changes at the core of your being. However where you are is an expression of who you have defined yourself to be. In other words your true being is always the same, even though you may not be aware of it; but your interpretation of the self changes according to your beliefs.
God knows who you are and His proclamations concerning you are made with this knowledge in mind. But these prophecies will be fulfilled in your life only when your definition of who you are conforms to His definition of who you are. And when this transformation takes place within your mind, His words will not come back to you void without producing the results they intended.
God is the perfect Creator, and perfect creation takes place when the mind interprets and demonstrates the suggestions of the soul devoid of the influence of the ego. The mind was created to serve the purpose of interpreting the suggestions of the soul but if the ego takes root, the mind looses its independence and power of pure perception. Therefore, know that you have the power to create heaven or hell as your own physical reality.

What do I need to do to remember in order to become aware of my true being? What do I need to do to create heaven and not hell?

Those who seek the knowledge of who they are always have it revealed to them, but they never experience it until they suspend the influence the ego has over them. The reason being that the ego always responds to the question ‘who am I?’ with answers that reflect what you are doing or what you have; none of which you are. On the other hand, the soul responds to this question with words that reflect the attributes of love and in the definition of love you will find your true essence. So you have to consciously shed the hold the ego has over you if you want to become aware of your true being. And when you do this, you will create your heaven on earth.

Who are you?

I am your guide charged with the responsibility of sharing with you the truths that will take you from where you are to where you intend to be. These truths will ensure that you complete your journey on earth without deviating from the authentic path. Thus the need to correct mistakes, which makes the journey more painful, is avoided.
I will help you understand the observations you have made about human life and provide you with the wisdom that ensures you avoid the same mistakes as those who have walked the path before you.
I will serve as a medium channelling the wisdom of God to you on any issue that you believe needs clarifying.
And I will speak the truth at all times because the truth will set you free.
Your observations about human beings experiencing life a little less than they were created for is true and this is the aftermath of their inability to remember whom they truly are. These people have been trapped by the ego. The ego entraps the minds of man through the provision of false teachings and these teachings promote fear. Thus these individuals are deprived the opportunity to go within their being to contact their authentic self.
This dialogue, as I have said previously, is intended to bring to your attention the problems encountered by human beings and the corresponding wisdom on how to avoid them. The way to achieve this involves the process of seeking and applying the authentic truths at all times. Thus this dialogue is intended to reveal the truth for your own good and that of the world. It is designed to penetrate the prejudices stored in the minds of humankind and to stimulate your authentic self. In essence, I seek through this dialogue to help you know how to distinguish between what is true and what is false; what is of the soul and what comes from the ego, because at the core of all the choices mankind makes, is a decision between reflecting the essence of the Creator or that of the ego.

How long do the effects of our choices last?

Each choice we make is manifested in eternity. Thus each choice made by the human today has an effect on the morrow until a more potent opposing effect is created.

What is eternity?

Eternity is one indivisible moment. It is the point beyond the perceived end. But for human comprehension, eternity is divided into measurable units called time. With time, humans become aware of the passing of eternity; even though in actual fact there is no past or future but only the unfolding present moment. And this explains why the promises of God are sometimes spoken of in the present tense. Thus to benefit from the promises of God, you are expected to live in the present, exercise patience and be faithful at all times because these virtues will ensure that you remain on the path from which you have called forth your desires.

Why do human beings lack the patience and faith required to live successfully?

Human beings do not lack the virtues mentioned above, they however may not realize that they possess them because they have been buried beneath the various layers of opinions and judgments they have formed. Nevertheless, most people realise the importance of these virtues and seek to acquire them from sources outside their being. This is an exercise in futility since these virtues lie latent within and can only be revealed through a constant desire and belief in the possibility of experiencing them.

What must I do if I intend to live the life you say is possible?

We all become who we think we are but if you intend to evolve into the person you were created to be, you will have to transcend the false teachings and beliefs that are presented to you by society. Only then will you have access to the virtues and nature of God you were born with. You must also be prepared to exercise patience because impatience is a disease.
Impatience has deprived more people from living their dreams than a lack of faith. Most people accept that it is possible to live their dreams and they pursue them with vigour, but when their desires fail to manifest on time - this is the term given to the time frame they have chosen - they give into the challenges presented by their impatience.
Do not get me wrong, you may set a time frame for the manifestation of your desires but it is advisable you don’t believe that the non-manifestation of your desires within this period is an indication that you can’t have it. Everything in life arrives at the appropriate time since life unfolds in compliance with one’s choices. Thus you have to learn to aspire without insisting on the time within which you expect your desires to manifest.
Know that the instant you set your mind on attaining a certain outcome, there is the possibility of it manifesting on your path if you are prepared to uphold the principles that conform to the truth. And any lag between the thought and manifestation is caused by the impediments created by the mind.
