Synopsis

Dragon Valley is a magical fantasy featuring five children, a mystical valley, and a witchy old lady.

Oh! And a Dragon. Not just any old Dragon who might guard treasure and snack on passing maidens; this is very definitely a Dragon with attitude.

She is a tetchy old Lady Dragon; and this is hardly surprising considering that she is really the great Goddess Mother Earth in one of her many guises. The reason that she is feeling so put upon, is due to the way that her human children are mistreating her beautiful planet. After all, the Earth is her material body, and nobody likes to be disfigured with sores and wounds, or soaked in toxic chemicals, and for that matter; poisonous gasses are hardly the best perfume for an old Lady.

When she is accidentally summoned from her valley lair by the youngest child, who happens to be a natural psychic, she takes the opportunity to put right some of the wrong ideas that children tend to pick up from adults who should know better.

Although initially terrified, the children soon recover their courage when they see that she means them no real harm. There is a moment of panic when she turns them into little Dragons, but she explains that she has work for them to do, and their little Dragon shapes are their 'working uniform' and they have a hilarious time as they learn to fly.

In the company of the Mother Dragon they go on some strange journeys and learn many things about the world, their fellow humans and themselves.
