The twenty two chapters in this book are pictorial and written representations of each one of the archetypal images depicted in the Major Arcana of the Tarot, however it is not a means of divination. It is a daily spiritual practice, or an aid at times of crisis or a gentle reminder of where and who you are at any given time. The paintings and writings are there with the sole intention of helping you on this rich but sometimes confusing path of life.
The Illustrations were inspired by Ayesha's Heart, which is the story of a Goddess from birth to enlightenment. The Oracles are words of wisdom. My Stories are personal reflections by the Author. The Meditations are to help you to get in touch with your truth. The Poems are a personal yet universal journey. The Magic contains practical tools which can be used to aid a deeper connection with the writing, the meditations and the illustrations.
Each of the chapters can stand alone or be read as part of the whole. It is a journey into the heart of one's own true self.
How to Use This Book
Ayesha’s Heart, The Oracle, My Story by Lea Cowin
I have worked and continue to work with the archetypal images of the tarot for myself and others for many years. These three writings contain many different layers of meanings.
Ayesha’s Heart is the story of the cyclical journey of a Goddess. The Oracles are words of wisdom and My Stories are personal reflections on the profound effects I have seen and experienced both in my own life and in others. The changes have manifested in all ways – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. It is this evidence that has led me to want to share the possibilities of working with these energies with a wider audience.
The Illustrations by Mariea Janke
These wonderful paintings were inspired by Ayesha’s story – “Ayesha’s Heart” which is a journey of a Goddess into the hidden meanings and mysteries of life.
The Meditations by Lea Cowin
All these meditations are written in such a way that you can work with them many times.
Each experience will be different and so deepen your understanding.
Each meditation need take no longer than 10 minutes.
Don’t worry if you’ve never ‘meditated’ before just ‘read and ponder’ that will be enough! Just find a quiet time when you won’t be disturbed and you can really relax into it.
A CD of the 22 meditations, spoken by Lea, is available.

The Poems by Sandra Maund
Sandra’s personal journey is revealed in these writings and yet they are universal and each one of us can identify with the pain and joy described so beautifully.
The Magic
The other contributors to this book have used their many years of expertise and wisdom to bring together just a few of the ways you can help strengthen your connection with any particular chapter.
Essential Oils by Fran Doidge
These oils can be used in an oil burner, a few drops on your pillow at night or even in your bath. They will certainly also help if used in an oil burner during meditation. Instructions on how to use essential oils safely can be found in the Quick Guide to the Magic
Colours by Julia Thomas
The energy in the colour enhances the meanings and illustrations of each chapter. Wear something of the colour or have something with that colour around you if you find yourself drawn to one particular chapter on any given day.
Essences by Hazel Rouse
The essences have been inspired by and created specifically for this book. They each have a name which carries the energy of the chapter. These vibrational essences can help in accessing the words and images more deeply and can clear old energies or bring in new ones as you need.
Statements by Lea Cowin
These are based on the practice of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and if used as a mantra saying them over and over again can help release blockages.
Chakras by Lea Cowin
For those of you who wish to focus on clearing the energy bodies through the Chakras I have identified these where appropriate.
Trees
It is with thanks to Fred Hageneder that these have been included. If possible go and stand by or even hug the tree that holds the energy with which you are working before, after or even during the meditation. Again just imagining it or looking at a picture of the tree will help.
Crystals
It is with thanks to Judy Hall that these have been included. Hold the appropriate crystal whilst meditating or if you don’t have the crystal imagine you possess it.
