Synopsis

It's 1919 and Eleanor is full of the joys of Spring because it's her eighteenth birthday and she feels this is the start of an excellent life for her in Kent.

But events don't turn out as she expects and she's devastated when her father refuses to let her marry Harry, the father of her baby. She'd wrongly assumed that her father would set them up with a business to give them a start in life, despite Harry coming from a lower class.

Forced into a loveless marriage Eleanor becomes determined to make her mark in the business world and seeks to avenge her wrong doings in life.
