The Big Picture

As souls, we have all been evolving throughout the galaxies for eons of time. We are all a part of that magnificent energy force called the great I AM, or God. You could say that we are a spark, or splinter of that divine source. We are now, we always have been and we will continue to be, on into infinity. We enter many planets as part of our evolutionary growth. Some of those planetary experiences are a one-visit trip. We go there, learn what we need to, and then leave.

Of course this is not the only Universe and galaxy that we can go to for experiences. At some point we all experience the spiritual richness of a myriad of dimensions as part of our ascension. How do I know this? In many of my workshops and meditations I have connected to Angels, Archangels, and Master-Beings who have taken me to space places where I joined them to do healing work.

This has included different countries, war zones, the culmination and signing of peace treaties, and helping Angels who work with hospitals, mental institutions, and also prisons. At times, I have joined with others to heal the grids on earth and in space, and even to make a new planet. However, my special love, and the focus of this book, is our adventure here on Earth.

Planet Earth is a very different experience, “experience” being the key word. We come here so that we can experience things first hand, because this is the only way that we add to our personal wisdom. Planet Earth is filled with souls at all different levels of growth. Therefore we can learn so much by mixing with, and meeting, our spiritual brothers and sisters. This is what makes being on Earth so spiritually rich and exciting. So, some of the questions that you may have asked yourself in your quest to understand your personal bigger spiritual picture, and find the answers to may have been:
What is it about Planet earth that draws or causes me to incarnate time and time again?
What roles have I played in my past lives?
Why does my journey seem so difficult this lifetime?
How many lifetimes have I had?
What am I here on Planet Earth for?
What is my purpose?
Who am I?

The simple answer is that, as souls, we are all on a quest for oneness. We are striving to achieve balance and harmony within, and with everyone, and everything that surrounds us. This is called being at one with all things.  When you embrace the concept of re-incarnation you are accepting the truth that life is not a quantifiable destination or point, but rather a growth process.

Without experiencing what it feels like to be separated from the oneness, how would we know what we are striving to return to. For example, you cannot know inner joy, without knowing what sorrow is. You cannot truly love someone without knowing what it feels like to be unloved. Re-incarnation, simply put, is all about antithesis. Antithesis is the principle that for one thing to exist, there must be an equal and exact opposite. For example:

Night and Day                      Summer and Winter
Black and White                   Sun and the Moon
Up and Down                       Wet and Dry
Love and Hate                      Joy and Sorrow
Sickness and Health              Rich and Poor 
Faith and Doubt                    Young and Old

The movie, starring Bruce Willis and Samuel L Jackson titled “Unbreakable” is a great illustration of this principle.  Nothing exists on its own. In order to know yourself, you need to have other people around you, to reflect back to you, your inner beliefs, values, views and ideals. If everyone around you were exactly the same as you, you would see a very limited perspective of yourself.

That is why mixing with people from all walks of life is so enriching to us. They serve to give us reality checks, as to where our state of consciousness is. For instance, they give us a chance to find out if we really are the non-judgmental, accepting, and loving person we like to think we are.

Our quest is urging us upwards and onwards towards ascension, and planet earth is designed to fulfil this desire. The system here is designed to impel us towards a higher state of consciousness, willingly or not.  If we do not grasp the higher way in a situation, we will have similar experiences again and again until we master it. This, of course could take up lifetimes, and as “time” is an illusion there is no urgency or pressure about how long it takes. However it makes little sense to keep repeating the same old thing again and again, when you could move on to newer and more exciting experiences.

So let’s take a more specific look at the dynamics of what we term past lives, allowing for the fact that from the spiritual viewpoint, there is no linear time. The only real time there is “Now” and all things are dynamically interacting in the “Now”. Therefore the sum totals of all your experiences are always here in the present.

You are rather like a multi-screen cinema complex, several movies or lives are being screened simultaneously, and yet you are only seeing one at a time. However your awareness “knows” that there are other movies screening with different people acting the major and minor roles on the screen and different people in the audience. You will sense some of the vibrations, reactions and actions of the people in each of the other cinemas (lifetimes), and unconsciously react to them, and yet you are endeavouring to focus all your attention on the movie that you are watching.

Many of your views, perspectives, fears, prejudices, loves, skills, talents, and of course your uniqueness in this lifetime, is the culmination of many lifetimes of experiences gathered here on the earth plane. Perhaps now you can see how it is almost essential to uncover this personal history. It will allow you to move forward to your grander purpose, with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
