Synopsis

This is Brenda's third collection. Her first works: The Sword In Your Stone and Tomorrow's People were published in 2006 and 2007 respectively.

I started this collection in 2007 and feel comfortable to draw a line under it now in 2009. My fascination with time viewed from a quantum perspective has released a flow of verse which has helped me to grapple with such a far reaching subject. Questions, as to the nature of what we really are viewed from a multidimensional perspective have been tackled simplistically in short verse form with minimal punctuation allowing the readers’ own understanding to develop. The poem below gives an indication as to why I have chosen to present my work in this way.
There are several poems which look at more contemporary matters, such as the credit crunch and some of life’s personal challenges that some may face: each poem endeavours to offer the reader an alternate view and purpose for such global and individual experiences.
For the esoteric reader there are three occult keys present in the text.
