About This Book
Although now interested in Advaita and non-dualism, these recent editions in Graham’s series of esoteric books are dedicated to another book, ‘A Course in Miracles’. Such books are known as ‘Miracle Studies Books’.
‘The Bridge-Glimpses of Light’ is in fact two books in one and includes as an introduction, ‘So None of This is Real Then? – Afraid Not!’
This is both an introduction to the 'Course' equally as it is an introduction to ‘The Bridge-Glimpses of Light’.
‘A Course in Miracles’ was written by Helen Schucman, a New York clinical psychologist working for a College of Surgeons. She heard a voice instructing her to write the book. Today we might refer to this as ‘channelled’.
Graham’s ‘Maurice’s little book of HUGE Questions’ and his other recent work ‘The Bridge-Glimpses of Light’, are from the same source as ‘A Course in Miracles’. (The guidance is Jesus speaking through the Holy Spirit, although Graham describes it as "Thinking in the normal way, except you’ve never had those thoughts before!")
‘Maurice’s little book of HUGE Questions’, is a richly illustrated book created specifically to aid parent’s of the ‘Course’ who wish their children to understand the 'A Course in Miracles', perspective on life.
The works are not religious yet contain references to Jesus, the Holy Spirit and God.
Graham explains: “You could call this source, the Light, or the Knowledge, or as quantum physicists refer to it ‘Zero Point Energy’. It’s not important, but the concepts are!”
Book Synopsis:
The first part called ‘So None of This is Real Then? - Afraid Not!’ is to clarify our universal history, how we came to be here in the first place!
The second part, ‘The Bridge’, was given specifically to aid readers who wish to literally bridge the gap between life and the concepts of the ‘Course’.
It explains how we are surrounded by the beauty we make in our world, yet take no time to observe and wonder at its magnificence.
Explained simply, that our universe and all we know is locked in time, our minds too, past, present, and future, all created by our ego to prevent our knowledge of our Home, Heaven.
Much of the text has a solid ground in today’s Quantum Physics, in the belief that we literally manifest the world we see.
The style of writing is the same as the ‘Course’, in that much of it uses a meter and language not dissimilar to that of Shakespeare’s period.
The author would like to point out that these books are as a support to ‘A Course in Miracles’, known as ‘Miracle Studies Books’. They do not take the place of the ‘Course’. Also that they in no way set out to promote a religion, sect or belief system that in any way challenges the beliefs of any present religion.
