Coaching The Coach which this December sold a record 164 books on Amazon alone meant it hit No 1 in its category of Football Books, Skills and Coaching. The book which is obviously a favorite with grassroots soccer coaches hit top spot quite early in the month and held the position through Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and then on through New Years Eve and New Years Day. Today the book is still No 1 in its category and even features in the www.amazon.co.uk top 100 of all Football Books, which include other categories such as Biographies, Reference, World Cup, Clubs, Competitions and World Football to name a few. As we write this article we can see that Coaching the Coach is the 13th best selling Football Book on www.amazon.co.uk with Gerrard; The Autobiography of Steven Gerrard (14) Rush; The Autobiography of Ian Rush (15) and Back from the Brink; The Autobiography of Paul McGrath (16). With the book now being promoted and sold by www.soccertutor.com, endorsed on the front cover by www.thecoachesassociation.com and featured in the winter 2008 catalogue produced by www.falearningshop.com we hope this year will see more sales. The Authors Online publication, Coaching The Coach has in its first year posted sales of over 1200 books, well done Richard Seedhouse.
